This page summarizes the original developer’s public news and source snapshot reviewed on October 14, 2026. It is a dated editorial digest, not a live patch feed. Individual official overview pages can lag behind changes, so the source of each entry is identified below.

October 14: account recovery and co-op fixes

The official news page adds Gmail linking for name-and-password accounts. Once linked through the game, Google sign-in can return to that same account if the password is forgotten.

The separately reviewed October 14 commit describes fixes for co-op waiting states, invisible enemies after a rift and friend invitations when a device clock is wrong. It also describes weekly/monthly leaderboard resets and reduced backend writes. These are source-release notes; a successful fix for every player has not been independently established by this wiki.

What to do: reopen the original game to load the current client, keep your account method consistent and use the co-op troubleshooting steps if a group is stuck.

October 13: the Judgment of Arceus

At minute 30, an invincible Arceus begins an escalating survival event in the Ruins of Judgment. Additional legendaries arrive every five seconds. Three achievements were added and the all-time leaderboard reset.

What to do: treat 30 minutes as a transition to an endurance challenge. The rift and Arceus guide explains the difference from an ordinary legendary fight. Use 130, not the older 127, when referring to the current published achievement count.

October 12: run fixes and more regular rifts

The developer reports fixing a black-screen or repeated-level-up problem after 84 minutes. Rifts were made more regular, with a maximum interval described as 2.5 minutes and increased weight for missing legendaries. Other changes included healer limits, a shared pause when the co-op host changes tabs, iPhone fixes, a shiny selector, stronger melee attacks and an in-game news screen.

What to do: do not plan around the old claim that rifts are extremely rare. Let your group know before the host changes tabs.

October 11: move bonds

Legendary rift victories began awarding bonds that let multiple moves share one active slot, up to four moves in a linked group.

What to do: distinguish a bond from a move evolution. Bonding changes which moves fire together; evolution improves a move after its level and run-card requirements are met.

Earlier launch features

The October 8–10 notes cover co-op, rifts, missions, held items, move evolutions, mobile controls, English support and expanded enemy/move behavior. These dates describe development updates; the developer’s itch.io release page lists October 11 as the public release date.

For current play, start with the beginner guide and use the wiki for mechanics. Reward-code claims are reviewed separately on the Codes page.
